Ian Brown - President & Co-Founder
Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Ian now resides in Carroll County, Maryland with his wife Jackie, and three sons.
With over 15 years of experience in electronic payments, credit card processing, and revenue cycle management, Ian has developed a deep understanding of the complexities that businesses face across a wide range of industries.
His expertise in payment processing technology enables him to apply cutting-edge payment solutions that improve efficiencies, enhance both client and user experiences, and ultimately streamline payment processes for businesses of all sizes.
Ian is truly committed to providing personalized solutions that drive success, reduce operational overhead, and improve the overall financial health of every client Tidewater works with.
Jackie Brown - Vice President, CFO & Co-Founder
Jackie grew up in Western Howard County, MD, and currently resides in Carroll County, MD with her husband, Ian, and their three sons.
After earning her Business Administration degree from Towson University in 2006, Jackie began her career in business management. She quickly advanced, taking on roles as COO, CFO, and CMO for a local chain of salons, all while launching her own side business.
In late 2014, Jackie left her corporate position with the salon company to focus on growing her business, which was expanding rapidly as she also started her family. Balancing motherhood with entrepreneurship, Jackie continued to thrive and, in May of 2019, she launched another successful business, which remains prosperous today.
In April of 2021, when her husband Ian transitioned from his tenured role in the electronic payments industry, Jackie played an instrumental role in co-founding Tidewater Payment Solutions, where she currently serves as Vice President and CFO. With her extensive background in business management and development, Jackie is committed to ensuring Tidewater is poised for growth, delivering exceptional service to both clients and the community.
